Joan Clancy to celebrate Culture Night in Ring

Joan Clancy Gallery

“We will serve a glass or wine or soft drink in celebration of Oíche Chultúir” says Joan, “and we are showcasing works by Damaris Lysaght, Blawnin Clancy, Andrea Jameson, Ross Stewart, Mary Clancy, Arthur Maderson, Ruth Carbery, Mary Foley, Kevin Miller, Rayleen Clancy, Sinéad Hehir, Katarzyna Gajewska, Dave West, Cassie Kirby, Caoimhghin Ó Croidheain, Conor O’Mahony and others”.

Culture Night Oíche Chultúir is the largest platform to showcase Ireland’s cultural and artistic richness and represents an extremely powerful and positive image of the vast contribution culture can make to our society.

Húlaí with globally renowned musicians Donal Clancy, Mary Rafferty and Seán Ó Fearghail will host a free session of music and set dancing for all the family in Meánscoil San Nioclás, located on the main road to Helvick, from 6.30 – 8pm.

Tigh an Cheoil in Baile na nGall will rock to the rafters from 9pm with members of the fabulous men’s choir Cór Fear na nDéise, the Conneries Singing Club and local singers and musicians. Genial hosts Josie and Seán MacCraith will serve tasty sandwiches in this renowned bastion of the music and culture of An Rinn. Info: (058) 46455.

Culture Night Oíche Chultúir is an initiative co-ordinated by Temple Bar Cultural Trust and supported by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in partnership with hEalaín na Gaeltachta Teo.

Joan Clancy Gallery, recently featured on Imeall, TG4’s arts and entertainment programme, is located in Mweelahorna, An Rinn near Ring College and the Cunnigar beach in the scenic Co Waterford Gaeltacht, 10k from Dungarvan, 15k from Ardmore. info@joanclancygallery.com  086 813 4597  www.joanclancygallery.com
