From the official opening in the Coastguard Cultural Centre on Friday night, with TG4 and Raidió na Gaeltachta presenter and former Kerry footballer, Dara Ó Cinnéide; right through to set-dancing on the Prom on Sunday afternoon, the “Maritime and Beach Heritage of Tramore” will be celebrated in music, song, dance, sport and word.
A wide range of Irish language and bilingual events will take place in various venues throughout the town, the vast majority of which will be free to the public, and all are welcome to come along and soak up the atmosphere, regardless of whether or not you have Irish.
